mean weighted correlation coefficients in Major modul

Post by Vit »

Hi all,
In a recent review of my meta-analysis manuscript, Ref2 suggested we should report and compute mean weighted correlation coefficients (r-bar: Hedges & Olkin, 1985; Lipsey & Wilson, 2001). Currently, I am using REML with Fisher's r-to-z transformation.

Does the MAJOR module have an option to work with and output weighted correlation coefficients based on effect size and sample size provided?

Would switching from 'Fishers's r-to-z' to 'Raw correlation coefficient bias-corrected' do the job?

Thanks for any suggestions.
