This also happens with all the older versions I have installed as well. I have attached a screen shot of the black screen but it is just as you might expect.
If I logon as local administrator the program will open, but if I logon as a standard user it is black screen. This being said, I gave all users modify permissions to the Jamovi folder but unfortunately that didnt work. Any suggestions would be awesome thanks!

not sure what the problem is here ... we've certainly never seen it before. a permissions issue of a some sort i would guess. you may need to use the cloud version instead:
