I am trying to load my jamvoi dataset into R using jmvconnect. When I use the what() function, I receive the following message from R: "Error in dataset$title : object of type 'externalptr' is not subsettable"
I have the newest versions of R, RStudio, and Jamovi. What is the source of the problem and what is the workaround?
Thank you!
Error when using jmvconnect
Re: Error when using jmvconnect
sorry, i'm not really sure what the problem is there. people have reported this problem in the past, but we've never been able to find a computer which reproduces the problem.

Re: Error when using jmvconnect
I found a solution to this problem by looking at someone else posting this problem here: https://forum.jamovi.org/viewtopic.php?p=9068
The solution that they posted (which also worked for me) is to first open jamovi, then open the .omv file through jamovi (as opposed to opening the .omv file directly from the computer).
