I have a similar issue.
I wanted to compare my variables and wanted to use an anova and it kept opoing up with the 'not enough observations' error.

i think you'll find that the source of the problem is that you haven't provided enough observations.

Hi,
What do you mean by contingency table?
I'm researching archerfish and basically training them to shoot targets

Bloodworms were their favourites x
Thanks!

haha, awesome. i had an archerfish once too ... in my experience, there's not much 'training' required
you may want a contingency table here, but i'm really guessing.
if you're wanting to show that the fishes performance improved over the sessions, then i'd suggest a non-parametric correlation - either a spearman or a kendall's tau - but you'll have to read up on these things. it sounds like you're missing some basic understanding of stats.
cheers

Basically, our task was to test participants repeatedly with different variables, whenever I put the4 variables it says not enough observation, need help pls

hi,
if i generate a correlation matrix from the data you provide, it works fine.
two things:
- this is an old discussion, can you start a new one
- can you provide steps to reproduce the issue, or include a .omv file which includes the 'errored' analysis
