I am no statistician, but in case of 2x2 fields, shouldn't a Fisher's exact test be used instead of chi square test?

Hello,
yes you are right, but there is a huge and interesting debate about Fisher's test, its overly conservative nature, and specific assumptions regarding the type of marginals. While I am still working on the module, I will ponder what it is worth to include vis-a-vis current (and past) debates....there are still a couple of tests I would like to implement.

By the way, I have just added a facility for rows/columns clustering....

Will keep you all posted, in case what I am developing proves interesting.
