jamovi

I've been following jamovi pretty closely, and will be integrating it into my undergrad teaching in Winter term this year alongside R.

I'd like to get the word out about jamovi at my institution by running a short free workshop at my institution to introduce people to the software. I think a lot of former SPSS users could be converted over, once they try it.

My question is: Do you have any resources or promotional materials I might use here at my university for running a workshop? So things like stickers, flyers, branded pens, digital logos, etc. or even sample PowerPoint slides? I have a small budget, so could potentially purchase some items to help spread the word. Any thoughts on resources would be welcome. I'm sure I can manage something regardless, but would be great if you had any sort of promotional materials that I could use to put on a workshop.

I also decided to try to conduct workshops. Share your experience, how complicated is this material for students? Do I need some kind of base before the start?

we don't have any promo things like pens or similar (we're financially a bit strapped, so we don't have big $$$ to burn on promo wares).

i run a lot of jamovi workshops, but generally speaking, i'm mostly demonstrating jamovi, so i don't usually have many slides. i am running a bigger workshop in feb, which will have exercises and the similar, but i haven't begun preparing it yet. if you hit me up after feb, i'll have some materials i can share.

promo-wise, it might be good to print either a little A5 leaflet, or a small business card sized thing. we've done business card type things in the past ... it helps people spell jamovi if an A5 leaflet tickles your fancy, i'd be happy to have some input into it.

Thanks, I appreciate the input. If you have any digital files for leaflets or business cards I can give attendees, that would be great. I can get them printed here, so not asking for $$.
