Greetings. Here are some suggestions to improve labeling in descriptive stats plots: For histograms, include numbers on the vertical axis to indicate the frequency (count). For histograms, label the vertical axis "Frequency" or "Count." For bar plots, correct the name of the variable being plotted on the horizontal axis.

yeah, these seem like good suggestions. i think we're just using the ggplot2 default behaviour ... which perhaps people have come to expect now ... not sure.

let me pass this on to ravi and see what he thinks.
