[SOLVED] jamovi can't work properly

It's my first time to use jamovi. However, when I open the software, the following message pops out immediately, and jamovi stops working after I close the dialog.
Connection lost. The processing engine has ended unexpectedly. This jamovi window will now close down. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Does any have a clue how to solve this problem?
PS: I'm using Win 7 64 bit.

hi,

yes, this is an obscure bug we haven't been able to get to the bottom of, sorry.

a very small proportion of users on windows experience this issue, and so far we haven't been able to get access to a computer which has this happen.

This should be fixed in the latest 0.8.1.11 version of jamovi

Yes, jamovi 0.8.1.11 can work properly on Win.
