Hi!

Inside the linear mixed module (GAMLj), i have 3 categorical variables (warmth, competence, valence) and 2 continuous variables (emotional empathy, cognitive empathy). Although in the fixed effects menu there is the option to generate "All 5-way" interactions, nothing happens when i click on it. Is it because there are continuous variables in it? I don't have data with 5 categorical factors to try it out. But this persists even after i force one continuous variable into categorical.

Is there an update on this bug? Jamovi 1.2.27.0 (Windows) can still not compute a 5-way interaction, although the menu in Fixed Effects still shows "All 5 way".

I have now tried it with our latest study design and the bug doesn’t allow for 5-way interactions of categorical variables, either. Before, I though it might be because we had some continuous variables into the mix but now all 5 variables are categorical with only 2 levels.

It might sound excessive to deliberately want a 5-way interaction but it really is crucial to our between- and within-subject design. Reviewers always frown when we have to blame it on a bug in the software.

That is correct. I downloaded the latest version 1.6.16 and it works.
