Variable order not respected in some analyses

Hello,

I hope this question/issue was not already asked…

When I import an SPSS file to JAMOVI, all is fine. However, when I select some of the analyses to be carried out, the variable window does not keep the same order as the columns in the spreadsheet. This is the case for the following analyses (example, I haven't tested all the analyses):
[*] Independent Samples T-Test (under T-Tests)
[*] Correlation Matrix (under Regression)
[*] Reliability Analysis (under Factor)

But not the Descriptives statistics (under Exploration) for example.

Is it me/my data or is there another issue?

Technical data (FWIW):
[*] JAMOVI version 1.2.9.0
[*] Operating system: macOS Catalina (version 10.15.3)
[*] Computer: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)
[*] Processor: 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
[*] RAM: 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
[*] Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB

Thanks and best regards,
pdeli

hi,

can you attach a .omv file of the issue, and explain where you'd expect things to be different from the way they are? if you suspect the spss import is at fault, perhaps you could attach the .sav file too.

with thanks

Hello,

Thanks for the answer and sorry for the delay in replying.

Will try to do what you ask asap. Will take some time though as I have to strip the data and replace it with some "fake" one and then will need to check if the problem persists.

Will try to do the same for the SPSS file, but please be patient.

Best regards,
pdeli
