jamovi

When I try to create a graph, using the plot feature in descriptive part. It just keeps loading without showing a graph. Any one I choose, say bar plot or histogram, it just keeps loading. It was working like three days ago. Then all of a sudden graph just can't be loaded for some reason. Other parts seem to be fine for now.

what OS is this (windows, macOS, linux)?

can you run jamovi at the terminal, and see if any error messages are produced? (i can give you instructions on how to do this if you're unsure, but i need to know your OS)

in the "start menu" (do they still call it that?) you should find an option for jamovi debug. if you run that, you should get a terminal. in there, type and press enter:

jamovi --debug

this should start jamovi with several additional windows. try running your analysis again, and see if any error messages appear in any of these terminals. oh, and what version of jamovi is this? if you haven't already, can you try the 1.2.16?

I was using 1.2.9. I debugged. It shows opening device failed. Then I installed 1.2.16, debugged, it's still the same error.

The other screenshot is what shows after debugging.

what's your username? i assume it has international chars in it.

i'll try recreating the same username here, and see if i can reproduce.

You mean my computer's username? Or my computer's name

your user name on your computer ... if you navigate to the C:\Users folder, you'll see a separate folder for each user. your username will be one of these folders.

Yes, there is internatinoal character in it but it seems like I can't change it

can you tell me what it is? i'll see if i can reproduce it at this end.
