How to "open from URL"

Recent release notes say "Added support for opening from urls." But I can't find the functionality in the UI or in the documentation. How does one access the function?
hey,
yeah, we're keeping it a bit on the down-low for now, but you can just paste an url into the 'This PC' search box, and it will be recognised as such.
