Mean plot in Jamovi

Hi,

I am thinking about using Jamovi for teaching at my course on survey analysis. I have not used Jamovi before so my question might seem trivial to you :)

I would like to generate mean plot of several variables. For instance, imagine that I measure satisfaction with government, police and health care system. I would like to compute mean values of these three variables and plot them with bar plot in descending order. I would like to adjust the graph (for instance add labels, change x axis, colors ...). An example what I would like to produce in Jamovi is https://ibb.co/B6fJ711 (I made up the data!)

Thank you for your help
Lan

hi,

producing mean plots is no problem, but at this stage our plots are oriented towards 'discovery', (simply visualizing the data without lots of options) rather than 'publication' (lot of settings you can tweak).

for the style of plot you link to, i'd recommend the surveymv module. surveymv is pre-installed on the cloud version if you want to try it out (under the exploration menu), without having to install jamovi, etc. ( https://cloud.jamovi.org )

you'll see that surveymv has a number of options.

kind regards

jonathon
