jamovi

Hello,
I'm trying to install this module but I cannot. Every time the installation goes halfway through and then it's stuck for hours. I tried to download the library and manually place it in the folder but 1) when I unzip a file there's always an error with something 2) if I place the new folder anyway in 'modules' it doesn't work either. Any suggestions? I would love to start using this!

if you download the .jmo file from here:

https://www.jamovi.org/library.html

you can sideload it into jamovi. you'll find the sideload option in jamovi, beside the jamovi library.

Thanks for the reply! But when I try that I get the warning 'unable to install module'. Any other ways I can fix the issue?

EDIT: I forgot to mention but it might be useful, I'm running this version > 1.2.27 solid

I'm having a similar issue:
- when trying to install GALMj from within jamovi I get the message "unable to access the library; timeout while connecting" (maybe has to do with the university firewall although I could install jamovi successfully)
- so I successfully downloaded and sideloaded the .jmo from the library webpage, only to discover that it's compatible up to version 1.6 of jamovi only (I have version 1.8.1.0 which is the only available for linux at the moment).

oh you're right. i've updated the library page so the linux downloads are now suitable for the 1.8.

Hello,
I've got an incompatibility problem again, under Linux jamovi 2.3.2.0 seems to be incompatible with the versions of GAMLJ (2.5.2), JPOWER (0.1.2) and JAMM (1.0.5) that are available for sideload from the library.
