Hello...
I keep downloading the legacy version of jamovi (1.2.27.0) that I need to work with my operating system (Mac 10.12.6), and it works for me that day. However, when I return to using it the next day I find that it has somehow apparently upgraded itself to the current release, which stops working on my OS. I have had this happen many times now. Is this a known phenomenon or "auto-update" feature? And can I turn it off?

you'll find the option under the kebab menu (the menu to the top right). you'll find a checkbox there.
