I have a very simple question!
I need to calculate the average of a column. I can calculate means of each case but I can't calculate the overall mean of a column.
I can't attach my dataset (too heavy)
Please could you help me?

Hi Lottie,
I'm not quite sure I understand the problem. If you run descriptives for this column/variable, then you can select to calculate the mean/median/modal average as part of this - and unless you specifically instruct jamovi to calculate these descriptives for subgroups of participants, then the default is to do it for all cases in the column?

to calculate the mean of a column/variable, use the VMEAN() function
