Hi, stats amateur here with a beginner's question! I'm wondering how jamovi is able to calculate the Pearson's r coefficient between an ordinal and a continuous variable? Thank you in advance!

the measure types in jamovi are (usually) just used as guides. so if you're requesting a pearson's r coefficient, jamovi will treat the ordinal as a continuous.
