Hi everybody,
I'm going for a repeated measure ANOVA with 2 Factors (one is categorial with 4 steps, one is ordinal with 5 steps) and I'm getting this error message:
I checked the cells: nothing seems to be empty. Do you have an idea how to solve it?
I would be really thankful:)
Thea

Re: error message in repeated measure anova
Hi, @TheGe.
The error message "Empty cells in between-subjects design ..." indicates that there is no data for one or more of the possible combinations (4 x 5) of the levels for the two factors.
To see this lack, I suggest you go to Descriptives, insert your RM in the list of "Variables" and the two factors in "Split by".
Just look at "N" and you will see the presence of zero for one or more combinations of the levels in relation to your two factors.
To continue in the RM ANOVA you must resolve the lack of this combination data.
Cheers,
Maurizio
