jamovi

Hi-

I had my campus install Jamovi 2.0.0 for my classes on 60 machines and the "Descriptives" menu is missing under the Exploration option. I have installed scatr and BaseR packages with ease, but still no descriptives.

Anyone now why Descriptives might be missing from the beginning?

Not sure if the base set of analyses are compatible with version 2.0 yet?

there looks to be something corrupt in your installation. run jamovi in debug mode (you should find it in the start menu), and some error messages should appear in the console, which should pinpoint what's going on.

jamovi is looking for a file in its installation directory:

Resources/modules/jmv/jamovi-full.yaml

(which in a typical install will be in:

C:\program files\jamovi 2.0.0.0\Resources/modules/jmv/jamovi-full.yaml

but it doesn't matter if you install it somewhere else)

you can also double check that the jmv module isn't simply hidden, you can check under "manage installed" under the module menu to the top right.
