For the "counts" input variable for Chi Square contingency, in what order should the counts be entered? (I was not able to find pertinent info on the jamovi sites.) For example, if I have . . .

A B
4 9 X
2 3 Y

and if I want to do the contingency analyses on the counts,

should the counts column contain 4 9 2 3, 4 2 9 3, or something else? What's the rule for ordering the values within the "counts" column?

hi, yup, we should improve the documentation. the order isn't important.

you can specify it like this:
