Can't allocate a vector of size 347.8 Gb Error in snowRMM

I have a database having 3129 rows and 18 columns. I tried Latent Class Analysis in snowRMM.
An error message popped up: Can't allocate a vector of size 347.8 Gb
How to solve this problem? I don't think, my database is that much big.
I used the latest version 4.3

Hi Ahmed_Hossain

The data is too big to run LCA within jamovi. I have tried to run LCA with some variables in your data and it runs OK.

Hi jonathon

Do you have any idea to solve the problem above? I think it might be the problem due to the memory problem.

hi, could you save this as a .omv file we could take a look at?

it does look like the analysis you've requested requires an incredible amount of resources.

Hi Ahmed_Hossain

Jonathon told me that he think that that error is being thrown by one of the R packages I use to perform the analysis … and at a guess, it’s a limitation of that R package called poLCA.

it would be worth trying to reproduce this analysis with poLCA ahmed.

there are just certain sorts of analyses which blow out and consume huge amounts of resources under particular conditions, and this could be one of those.

see if you can reproduce in poLCA, and ask the author of poLCA about it. they'll probably have a better idea what's going on, or how this might be worked around.

cheers
