troubles with Major/proportions

Schermata 2022-03-15 alle 10.49.34.png[/attachment]I use Jamovi 2.2.5 for Mac
when running Major for proportions I insert the three required variables (study, cases, positive cases), but meta-analysis does not go ahead. I always get a message in red telling that an error is occurring "VALORE MANCANTE dove รจ richiesto TRUE/FALSE". Message is in Italian, translation is "missing value where TRUE/FALSE is expected"
This problem holds since my first attempt when using version 1.8.
So, what is going to happen?
Thanks in advance

Hey @nicmic,

the error message is probably due to the two variables used for "Frequencies of the Event" (numerator) and for "Total Sample Sizes" (denominator), which are not set as "Measure Type" to Continuous.

You can do this from Data>Setup for both and by changing the measurement type to the two variables, the error should resolve itself.

Un cordiale saluto,
Maurizio

Thanks a lot, I also guessed that solution was in changing the variabile type, but the result substantially did not change, since I got another error message "must supply a moderator variable", even if the moderator variable option has not been chosen. Moreover, all other types of meta-analysis work well, so the behavior of the proportion is somewhat mysterious.
I'll go back to Stata for this job; even, I will try to check what to do.
Maybe, did you find any compatibility issue with MacOS Monterey?
Grazie mille, Michele
