For the same sample data for independent t test, if I run normality test in the modul of indpendent t test and exploaratory/descriptive statistics, you got different W values. Any differences there?

normality in descriptives corresponds to the normality test in the one-sample t-test, rather than the independent samples t-test.

thanks. When you run independent sample t -test, didn't you do two shapiro tests for both samples? But jamovi only showed a single W/p values of shapiro test in this case, and it was different from the shapiro results by one-sample t-test. What is it for?

no, the shapiro test in the independent samples t-test is on the residuals.
