jamovi

I have been trying to install the newest version of Jamovi for windows, both versions (zip and nonzip). I have never used it before, nor attempted installation before this version. Every time I have tried to install it, it tells me it is already installed. This is not correct. I have gone through all of my files, recycling bin, restarting the computer, with nothing working. I read a couple posts about this for earlier versions but they didn't help. There is no way I can click on the installer differently, so that is not the problem. Only software to have this issue on my computer. I really need this installed to do my college homework, please help!!
