One minor user design query. The main dialog on the right has:
Dependent variable

Covariates

Factors

Assuming that factors are the main things people work with and in MANOVA, covariates come at the bottom, I was wondering about the order of Covariates and then Factors here. On the other hand, covariates means something else, possibly factors, in the linear regression dialog. Or maybe it's the use of terminology that is causing my confusion?

yeah, i wondered about that myself. i'm guessing ravi wanted to keep the order consistent (factors first, covariates second) with the other analyses.

So I did want the order to be consistent, but consistent with the (future) linear regression. And because most people use covariates in linear regression (but factors in ANOVA) I put that one first.
