Frequently I would prefer to have the option to draw a dot plot with error bars of effects (CI) for predictors in my (e.g., linear) models.
The idea would be to draw effect sizes (like standardized betas) and their CIs below each other. On the y-axis, the predictors could be listed, and X-axis would show the effect size scale. In such a dot plot, magnitudes and overlaps of effect sizes and overlaps with zero would be apparent and handy.
