i import a big data 1000 variables and 6600 data
but fail to open no matter desktop version or beta cloud version

what format is the file in? What error do you receive/what happens?

I use windows system
When I upload an excel file in cloud, the connection will be interrupted half way through the upload.
Therefore, I try to use the sav file on the desktop and wait for a long time without any response.
When I decide to open it again, it shows that the file is in effect.

if you provide us a way to get the file, we can take a look. zip it up and attach it here ... or if it's too large, use a file sharing site and share the link.

I noticed an issue related to a big data too. One of the data files had 2200 variables. I could open the file. But, when I try to see the list of the variables, the later variables were munched together. Please see the image.
So, is there a limit in the number of variables or the size of the data file in jamovi? I checked my system resources but they are not the issue.

yeah, that's actually a limitation of electron/chrome rather than jamovi itself ... but yes, we're aware of the issue, but haven't got to it yet.
