Hi,
I got the solution for this question provided months ago. Our classroom has a software-based broadcast teaching system. This system caused jamovi crashed in the students' computers. Based on our recent work, this system is incompatible with any JAVA based programs. You may share the warning with the users who are using the same kind of system.

Re: Crash in computers classroom
hi sau-chin,
so if you have the java runtime installed, it would cause jamovi to not start up properly?
with thanks

Re: Crash in computers classroom
Hi Jonathon,
The computers in our classroom cannot install java runtime to protect the computers from the virus. I can not test your hypothesis for now. Our solution is to install jamovi in the virtual machine where the users run the software which is incompatible with the broadcasting system.
best,
Sau-chin
