[Using jamovi 2.3.28]
The Polish name for chi-square test of association is currently set as "test zgodności X2" which is actually one, much more popular Polish name for the goodness-of-fit X2 used in academic books etc., the other "test dobroci dopasowania X2" is just an English word-for-word translation) - it should be "test niezależności X2" (meaning "test of independence" which is Polish name for the X2 test of association).

I would like to ask how often are translations exchanged for corrected ones? Is it only in stable versions?
Or had I posted it wrongly on the forum @jonathon indicated?
I did it about 3 months ago, several updates of jamovi since, but still I have to tell students (very happy to have jamovi to make students' first contact with statistics easier ), that Polish chi-square test name is wrong .
I suggested names used in the academic literature but maybe no one noticed?

these fixes should have made it into the latest versions.

can you double check that everything is correct in weblate? then can you provide an example of a translation that isn't appearing correctly.

the way I put in in weblate may be erroneous (did not use special characters - just square brackets for [chi-square] phrase)
but the translations are correct.

To be quite honest "chi-square goodness-of-fit" is currently translated as "chi-kwadrat test dobroci dopasowania" which is correct, it is just way less popular in literature than "test zgodności chi-kwadrat ", this is why I suggest the latter.

On the other hand, "chi-square test of association" is currently "test zgodności chi-kwadrat" which is wrong and misleading, the proper and most popular name in Polish is "test niezależności chi-kwadrat" (which is "test of independence" verbatim in English).

I must admit, this confusion is on me Translating jamovi into Polish has been a one-person project, and almost all the entries are my doing. The "chi-square test of association" was indeed a blunder; evidently, I must have carelessly accepted the machine translation
With "chi-square goodness-of-fit," we certainly can consider the criterion of popularity; this is what I've applied in most dubious cases. Additionally, now I think my translation is too closely associated with SEM, which might cause confusion among beginners.

Anyway, thank you very much for catching this mistake. I've updated the translation in all the records where these terms appear - this should be visible in the next "current release".
