dendrogram in hierarchical cluster analysis (SnowCluster)

Hello,
I've done a HCA dendrogram with binary data (coded 1,2) that is also sparse (Canberra distance and average clustering seems to work the best).
I wanted to put my own labels into the dendrogram but when I enter a variable as a label, there is an error message ('elements of k must be between 1 and 9').
Does someone know why this happens?
Also, I don't understand what the numbers in the dendrogram are - are they just row numbers? And the cluster numbers - are they just counted top to bottom?
Here is the file: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ak18NDjxZnZrgeAOn6k ... Q?e=CwKwCg
The label variable I wanted to use is 'RP'.
Many thanks,
Russell
