Testing multivariate normality in jamovi

Post by alex99 »

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if it's possible to test multivariate normality in jamovi (e.g., Henze-Zirkler, Mardia, Royston). I tried to work with the mvn package from R but jamovi didn't let me install it. Does anyone have an idea if it's still possible to run the tests in jamovi somehow?

Thank you and best wishes
Alex

Hi @alex99,
The RJ module does not allow you to install libraries when using "jamovi R" (R v4.1.3 is the one that comes with jamovi), as you would from your "system R".
But if you want to play with "jamovi R" with the libraries that interest you and are present for an R v4.1.3, you could take a look at the attached screenshot, where (on the fly) I left a few lines of code to support the above, recalling what you were trying to do.
