GAMLj3 error in Linear Mixed Model (cholmod_factor_IdetA..)

Hello,
Thanks for the brand-new GAMLj3 with all those additions. Two of my PhD students encountered the following error when they started to use the GAMLj3 with Linear Mixed Model:

function 'cholmod_factor_IdeA' not provided by package 'Matrix'.

This error occurs on Mac Apple M1 Pro running Ventura 13.6.4.

Our team would be very grateful if you could help us to resolve this issue.

Could you tell us the jamovi version and the version of GAMLj you work with?

Jamovi version is 2.5.1.0
I am not sure where to look at the GAMLj3 version. Today, I reinstalled Jamovi again from scratch (I guess it will be the latest version of the GAMLj3). The error is the same.

Hi,

it looks like there was incompatibility between the version of lme4 hosted on CRAN (at the date of our snapshot), and the version of matrix that ships with R 4.3.2.

i've updated the version of the Matrix package which is shipped with jamovi, and if you update to jamovi 2.5.2 this should be fixed.

it sounds like it's only an issue on macOS.

Yes, It got fixed. I just tried it and it worked on my Apple M2 Pro Mini Mac.
This is the version: GAMLj3 - General Analyses for Linear Models (v3) 3.2.3

macOS Sonoma 14.3.1
