Hello,
I am running a GLM mediation model with a factor that is 3 experimental conditions.
The output only gives me the results for condition 1 and condition 2, I have tried setting it up in a few different ways with no success.
Can anyone think of how I can get the results of all 3 conditions please?
Best,
Pete.
GLM Mediation with 3 level categorical factor
Re: GLM Mediation with 3 level categorical factor
I have also just noticed in the diagram notes that it says "for Condition contrasts: Condition1 = Control - Success, Condition2 = Failure - Success. However I an unable to set the reference as control. Any ideas?

Re: GLM Mediation with 3 level categorical factor
As for any other genaral linear model, also in mediation the effect of a categorical variable is represented by K-1 contrast variables, where K is the number of levels. If you want to change the reference level, go to the data tab, variable properties, and set your reference level as the first level of the variable (uee the arrows on the right to move the level ip)
