When I attempted to install each time, It says "unable to install module, connection closed".

Try checking other computers offsite to see if you get the same message.

What I've found is that many institutional computers have app blockers that may allow core aspects of jamovi to run while blocking other aspects. I've found that this blocking is especially likely to affect modules. Moreover, I've found seolmatrix to be more affected than any other jamovi module I use.

I had this same issue just last week on my university-supplied laptop. Couldn't install that module (kept getting a "isn't a zipped file" error when it almost finished installing) when working from home, but oddly enough it installed without a hitch when I tried doing it at work!

Please try installing the latest version of jamovi and the latest version of the seolmarix module on your laptop. If you still have installation issues, please let me know.
