Effect Sizes and (Sampling variances or Standard Error Meta-analyses

Good morning,
First of all, congratulations and thank you for your excellent work on Jamovi.
For "Effect Sizes and (Sampling Variances or Standard Error) Meta-analyses," I often need to calculate the sampling variances or standard errors using formulas such as SD2 or SD/√n. While the calculations themselves are straightforward, these values are not always explicitly reported in papers.
Could you please confirm if this approach is correct or if there is a simpler or more efficient method available?
Thank you for your attention and support.
Best regards,
Guillermo Portugal
