Dear Jamovi Community,
I am glad to share that my book "From Data to Insights: A Beginner's Guide to Cross-Tabulation Analysis" has recently been published by Chapman & Hall (July 2024):
https://www.routledge.com/From-Data-to- ... 1032720388
I wanted to inform the community about this publication because Jamovi was an important tool that I used in the production of this work. I used Jamovi to produce the tables presented in the book. The software is referenced to in the annotated bibliography in Chapter 7, including the download URL.
As many of you know, cross-tabulation analysis is a fundamental technique in data exploration and hypothesis testing. The book aims to make these concepts accessible to beginners whilst maintaining statistical rigour. I believe that Jamovi, with its intuitive interface, aligns well with the book's educational goals of making statistical analysis more approachable.
I have been using the software in my lectures on quantitative methods in the social science since 2020, and I am more than happy with it ! Thank you for developing and supporting an open-source statistical software that contributes significantly to data analysis and teaching alike.
Kind regards,
GmA
