jamovi

I am impressed by how quickly the jamovi developers address bugs. Bug fixes have been released almost daily following the 2.7.1 upgrade last week. Compliments to the developers team.

1. Should I report feature requests and bugs here in the forum, or is it better to submit them as issues on GitHub? I am unsure which is preferred and would like to avoid duplicate postings.

2. Is it normal that I do not receive any notifications about available updates when starting jamovi? Does jamovi check for updates and prompt users to install them?

bugs are best to go in the issue tracker...

you will not receive updates about newer versions of jamovi unless your version is very old, or there's a very problematic bug in the version you are using.

thank you. it's okay, but wouldn't it make sense to inform the user with a notification each time a new update is available (as most other apps do)?
