Condensing categorical variables

I have a categorical variable, with 3 options, which are "weekly, several times/week and never. I am trying to condense it to yes or no.
can anybody help me please

Have you used numbers or text for the three categories in the participant responses?

the 'transformed variable' system is good for this:
