I am trying to do a linear mixed models analysis involving 4 factors. I have noticed that the outcome varies depending on which order the factors are entered into the model. I am wanting to adjust the SS calculation Method from Type 1 to Type 3 to hopefully remove the issue, but can't find where to do this. Does anyone know? Also happy to hear if something else is likely to be my problem...
