Unable to add random intercept (Intercept | Dyad ID) in Mixed Model — arrow and drag not working (Mac)

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to compute ICC using the Mixed Model in jamovi, but I’m running into an issue when specifying random effects.
What I am trying to do:
OS: macOS
jamovi version: 2.6.45
This seems like a UI issue rather than a setup problem. Has anyone encountered this, or is there a workaround to correctly specify the random intercept?
Thanks in advance for your help!
I’m trying to compute ICC using the Mixed Model in jamovi, but I’m running into an issue when specifying random effects.
What I am trying to do:
- Dependent Variable: MeanSat
Cluster variable: Dyad ID
Random effect: Intercept (Dyad ID)
- I am able to create the component “Intercept | Dyad ID” in the Components box, but:
Clicking the arrow (→) does not move it to the Random Coefficients box
Drag-and-drop also does not work
The right panel shows: “Select at least one term in Random Effects”
- Ensured the dependent variable is added
Clicking (not dragging) before using the arrow
Resizing the window
Restarting jamovi
Recreating the analysis from scratch
OS: macOS
jamovi version: 2.6.45
This seems like a UI issue rather than a setup problem. Has anyone encountered this, or is there a workaround to correctly specify the random intercept?
