Please excuse me as I am just new to jamovi which I find really exciting. I tried to connect it to my RStudio but failed because RStudio is not able to find a package called jmvconnect. How do I install this to establish this connection ?

to install jmvconnect from RStudio, you go:

install.packages('jmvconnect')

but for a small number of users, it looks like R doesn't always find it. i'm looking into that at the moment.

Thank you. Sorry to bother you as I really would like to use jamovi for my teaching but I still don´t get the connection to R. Although I was now able to install jmvconnect in the latest R Open version and in R Studio I still get multiple error messages or I perhaps understand something completely wrong.

yup, still working on the jmvconnect issue

if you uninstall and reinstall walrus, that will solve the reshape issue.

hi oliver,

that version solves the issue for quite a few people, so it's now available from the jamovi library.

try updating your version from there, and see if it fixes the issue.

Dear All,

I was running lme4 and buildmer on RJ Editor. All the sudden it became unresponsive. Any ideas? Now it is not responding to any of my code from that session.

If I open a new RJ editor window, it opens a new one, but it takes a while.
