[RESOLVED] omv: What compression?

Hi
I am using JASP and jamovi at this time. A feature that I like a lot on JASP is the ability to exchange the data-source file and recreate the calculations directly again with the new (exchanged) data.
I did not find such a feature in jamovi.
So I tried to unpack the omv file "A" with the first dataset and calculations.
Unpack file "B" (exactly the same structure, but different data, also different number of cases).
Put data.bin, metadata.json and xdata.json from "B" into "A" folder and zip folder "A" to "myNewB".
Unfortunately I can not open "myNewB" as jamovi tells me MANIFEST.MF is missing - which is not.

Is there a simpler way?
Which compression algorithm is used for the OMV file? I tried ZIP and that did not work.

Solved: I ZIPed a subfolder.

Sorry to bother.

oh yup. i've been meaning to add this. you can also copy/paste the data.

good job on the (rather epic) work-around.

cheers
