Opacity of box plot

Personally, I think that the interquartile range shown in the box plot is a bit too opaque. When I add jittered individual data points (particulary when there is quite a few data points) I find it difficult to see the individual datapoints (which is problematic for putting together publication quality figures). I suggest making the interquartile range colouring less opaque and, ideallity, adding a tick box option to totally remove the colouring for the interquartile range.

oh yup,

this sort of plot-editing is on it's way, but still a little way away. in the mean time, you can do some 'post-processing' in inkscape. i appreciate this isn't ideal, but at least gets your were you need to go:

Hi Jonathon,

Great to hear that plot-editing is on its way. And thanks for the clear 'post-processing' stand in solution -- very useful!

Best,

Rob
