Hello,
is it possible to get some help regarding anova? I noticed other members raised the same issue but I have not been able to resolve it. The error message I get (which is in Spanish!) is "argumento tiene longitud cero". Can I contact one of the administrators directly for this?

Thank you

Chris

hi,

is this with the non-parametric anova? in which case you just need to update to the latest version.

otherwise attach a .omv file of the issue here and we'll take a look.

with thanks

Hello

I have the latest version and I just reinstalled it again. I'm just not sure what the problem is.
Could you have a quick look?

Thank you very much

hi,

this .omv file doesn't contain any analyses? can you attach a .omv file which contains the analysis with the error message? alternatively, provide us with the steps to reproduce it.

with thanks

hi, yes perfect,

so the issue is that you have empty cells in your design. you have zero females in age group 3, so ANOVA won't work. i.e.

Code: Select all

#
# Contingency Tables
# ──────────────────────────────────────────
# Agegroup Male Female Total
# ──────────────────────────────────────────
# Age group 1 5 4 9
# Age group 2 5 6 11
# age group 3 4 0 4
# Total 14 10 24
# ──────────────────────────────────────────
#
of course, we should provide a more useful error message than we do. so i'll see about that.

cheers, and thanks for reporting.
