Reorder output

That way, after having done some analyses, the user could opt to duplicate the analyses in any arbitrary order and then delete the originals, leaving the just the arbitrarily ordered duplicates.
+1.
Re: Reorder output
FYI. I notice that a platform similar to jamovi puts duplicated analyses at the bottom of the output window (rather than immediately beneath the copied analysis), and this simple change does work well to let the user reorder (indirectly) the entire set of analyses.
Re: Reorder output
Upvoting this suggestion. The capability to re-order analyses in some way, either with duplication to end, copy/paste in report, or drag/drop, would be immensely helpful for making a "final results report" with analysis in a logical order.
Re: Reorder output
I found a non-technical work-around: I simply include a 'table of contents' telling the reader wear to look in the numbered-but-out-of-order analyses. For example . . .
RESULTS
Contents
Response Time
RESULTS
Contents
Response Time
- General Descriptives for RT (#5)
- ANOVA of RT (#3)
- Rj planned comparisons for ANOVA of RT (#6)
- General Descriptives for Accuracy (#1)
- ANOVA of Accuracy (#2)
- Rj planned comparisons for ANOVA of Accuracy (#4)
Re: Reorder output
Here's another alternative workaround:
Make sure the very first "analysis" is an Rj+ syntax window. You can use in for creating new, computed variable's or whatever you want. When your done with all of your jamovi analyses, you can get the syntax for each analysis and paste it into the Rj+ window. There, you can order the analyses however you like. Alternatively, you could duplicate the Rj+ window to obtain a series of syntax-editing windows. The end result is an initial portion of the output that consists of (syntax-generated) analyses in their desired order, followed by GUI-versions of the same analyses that may be in an undesired order.

Re: Reorder output
Please add this feature! Especially for all of the open science researchers who want to share data so being able to organize everything at the end would be super beneficial! Thanks for all of the hard work.
Re: Reorder output
yup, we're definitely getting closer to implementing this.
