measurement invariance

Post by ecelik »

I want to evaluate measurement invariance in Jamovi.

Example: https://lavaan.ugent.be/tutorial/groups.html

Are the steps I gave below in the SEMLj interactive menu correct for measurement invariance?

Step1- Figure 1: Configural Invariance

Step2- Figure 2: Metric Invariance group.equal = “loadings”

Step3- Figure 3: Scalar Invariance group.equal = “loadings + intercepts”

Step4- Figure 4: Strict Invariance "loadings + intercepts + residuals"

Can you help?

I can confirm that the four setups you listed constrain the flagged coefficients to be equal across groups. Then, if you want to call loadings+intercepts+residuals as strict invariance, then figure4 setup is strict invariance. This last part is not related with software, so you free to do what you prefer
