Problem installing snowCluster module

Post by Jockuliser »

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me work out why I keep getting an error "HTTP 404 not found" message every time I try to download the multivariate (snowCluster) module (7.3.5). I am using Windows 11 and Jamovi version 2.4.11 (it's all controlled by work, so I cannot change these). I've restarted my laptop and there are no outstanding software updates on my computer. I also tried to download the module from the JAMOVI website (https://library.jamovi.org/) in an attempt to sideload the module. The sideloading works OK, but no matter which version of snowCluster I install, it always says "installed version is incompatible" with this version of Jamovi.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

for the 2.4 series, you should be able to use modules from here:

https://library.jamovi.org/win64/R4.1.3/

cheers

Thanks @jonathon. With the snowCluster module on that page (7.3.7), I just get an "Unable to install module" message.

I should add that I can install various other packages this way, so I know I'm using the right process.

yeah, sorry, not sure what's going on there.

i'd suggest either updating to the 2.6 or using the cloud version.

Thanks, @Jonathon. The work system won't let me update Jamovi beyond their sanctioned version, but using the cloud version is a great idea. I should've thought of that 🤦‍♂️ Thanks. I have what I need now.
