Hi guys, I'm a uni student using jamovi for the first time for my dissertation, i have around 250 particpants but im wanting to refine my sample down to a specific subset. I am investgiating adhd and emotions so im wanting to filter my data set so that i have two conditions:
1. people with an adhd diagnosis - (decided to retain adhd particpants even if depression & anxiety diagnosis)
2. people without any diagnosis - (need to filter out people without adhd diagnosis but that have depression & anxiety - I have column called no diagnosis where a 1 means no diagnosis)
But im having a hard time figuring out how to do this in jamovi using the filter formula? I do want to remove the particpants that dont fit the criteria above but just even hiding them would do. I have tried the formulas, but it doesnt seem to be working? Does anyone have any ideas as i'd prefer to not have ot manually go through and sort this, as it would also probably lead to errors.
Diagnoses are disclosed via a 1 or 0 scoring (1 meaning a diagnosis of condition) and each condition has its own column. Here's a screenshot of my data and what ive tried to do.
