In my class of students, some are using jamovi 2.7.6 on Windows; others are using it on macs. When using Rj+ to write data back to the jamovi spreadsheet, deliberately-created NA values (in R) properly show up as missing values the jamovi spreadheet if the student is using Windows. However, for those using macs, the NA values get (improperly) converted to "0"s. I've attached a jamovi file in which the conversion works properly in Windows but, apparently, not in macOS.
I've had students uninstall and then reinstall the Rj module, but that has not helped.
Is there a way that I can fix this?
On mac but not Windows, NA converts to "0" when using Rj+ to write to the jamovi spreadsheet
Re: On mac but not Windows, NA converts to "0" when using Rj+ to write to the jamovi spreadsheet
Fixed. The issue was in jamovi itself. The next release will address it.
Thanks for the reproducible example.
