Hello,
I'm writing to see if anyone knows how to fix the issue where the Jamovi application cannot run any sort of tests, coming up with the error "This analysis has terminated, likely due to hitting a resource limit". I assume this is an issue with RAM, however...
1) I've tried running analyses when only Jamovi is active, ensuring it gets the priority on RAM usage (doesn't change anything);
2) While my laptop isn't super great specs, it has 8 gigs of RAM which I imagine is suitable for running Jamovi in the ways I need, but I haven't been able to find any info about Jamovi system requirements;
3) I've made it so that my laptop is at max performance settings in case it was being limited by that, but that hasn't helped anything either.

I've had this issue for over a year now and have tried multiple versions of Jamovi, have run the debugger (which also doesn't work?), and done just about anything I can think of to fix this problem.
I've had to use the free cloud service, which is fine, but really inconvenient for the uni work I've been doing. Any forum posts I've found discussing this issue have just pointed to cloud service use, but as I'm going into my dissertation writing, I really want to be able to use the app for best performance and ease.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi,

in these situations, we point you towards the cloud version. these are typically caused by something idiosyncratic about your machine.
